Advising clients, prospects, and anyone else interested in technology

New Rowley is in business to help you make better, more informed decisions — decisions about which technology to watch, invest in, or avoid.

We have a wide range of individuals and organizations that read our research or interact with us. We don't ignore vendors that want to brief us or want feedback on a product launch, a vendor sales manager asking about product positioning, or an IT staffer trying to flesh out a list of vendors in a particular market. Many of these nonclients may one day become clients or refer business, but they also are part of our link into the inner workings of the industry. Our net is wide open for information and discussion.

We have two primary types of clients that mirror our main services:
  • Vendors interested in research or various types of structured interactions. Some vendors are in a confusing market and are looking for third party research that will help them more effectively position their offerings and shorten their sales cycles. Others want an experienced and creative third-party to help them define and execute marketing projects and new product launches. New Rowley licenses existing research for redistribution, creates news research based on client needs, and provides a range of consulting services for single projects to retainer-based initiatives lasting a few months.

  • User organizations that need research or interactions to help inform or educate them of new technology offerings. In many cases, we work to help IT communicate technology concepts to business managers and executives — the people who are required to sign off on IT investments and have knowledge of what products or service their customers want but who have little understanding of what is possible from a technology perspective.

How do we keep the lights on and pay for Net access? Most of our research is published at the New Rowley TechView -- with a minimum of advertising and no subscription fee. Organizations can license research (to redistribute) and work with New Rowley on individual projects. For example, a vendor might license a research note to distribute to prospects, while another might retain us for feedback and input on its Web site refreshment project and marketing message overhaul (see our Web Site Optimization Program). Typically, with user organizations we field calls on research items or specific products and companies, provide referrals, and interact to help buyer organizations understand emerging technology.

Have something in mind? Send us an email or give us a call and we'll let you know if we can help you. If we can't, we'll try to find you another organization or way that can help you meet your needs.
